Prince star Nicol David reached a new milestone in her remarkable squash career by achieving her 17th month as world number one in the new September Women's World Rankings - thus becoming the fourth longest-standing women's world number one of all-time!

Sharing a 16-month total in August with two other players, David now secures an exclusive grip on fourth place in the all-time list, behind former great players Susan Devoy, Australian Michelle Martin - a fellow Prince player - and Sarah Fitz-Gerald.

Comprehensive victories over rivals Rachael Grinham and Natalie Grainger, third and fourth seeds, respectively, in last week's Forexx Dutch Open emphasised Nicol David's status as the world's top player.

In her 16th successive final on the WISPA World Tour in Amsterdam, the 24-year-old from Penang notched up her sixth Tour title of the year - and the 22nd of her career.

Nicol David has enjoyed an unprecedented run of form since signing to Prince in October 2005. Within a week of switching to the brand's revolutionary O3 Tour, David clinched her first British Open title - and went on build up a 50-match unbeaten run which included two World Open titles.

Remarkably, since joining Team Prince, Nicol has competed in 19 WISPA World Tour events - reaching the finals on all but one occasion!
